Slamming Southwest Turkey Meatballs
RECIPE SUGGESTION FOR USE WITH THE SAUCE! SOUTHWEST BLEND
INGREDIENTS
2 lbs ground turkey
4 scoops THE SAUCE! SOUTHWEST BLEND 2 eggs beaten
3 tbsp mayo
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 tbsps chopped parsley
1 tbsp dried oregano
DIRECTIONS:
In a medium size bowl, add THE SAUCE! SOUTHWEST BLEND, eggs, mayo, breadcrumbs, parsley and oregano. Mix well. Add the ground turkey. Mix thoroughly and began to form walnut size meatballs.
Place on a baking sheet and cook in a 375 degree oven for 20-25 minutes turning mid way. If you prefer to fry, then pan fry until golden brown, then place them in the oven for 15 minutes at same temperature to finish cooking.
Be sure to let the meatballs rest before cutting and serving.
Try adding to baguette roll with shredded cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, taco sauce, and shredded lettuce for one heck of a ‘southwest’ style meatball hoagie.
